Oocyte Freezing Procedure in India

Initial Consultation: The first step in the oocyte freezing process is to schedule a consultation with one of our fertility specialists. During this appointment, your specialist will review your medical history, conduct a physical exam, and discuss your fertility preservation options.

Hormone Stimulation: Once you have decided to proceed with oocyte freezing, you will begin a series of hormone injections to stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple eggs. These injections will be administered daily for approximately 10-14 days.

Egg Retrieval: Once the eggs are mature, they will be retrieved through a minimally invasive procedure called transvaginal ultrasound-guided aspiration. This procedure is performed under light sedation and takes approximately 30 minutes.

Egg Freezing: The retrieved eggs are then frozen using a process called vitrification. This process rapidly freezes the eggs to prevent ice crystal formation and preserve their quality.

Storage: The frozen eggs will be stored in our state-of-the-art cryopreservation facility until you are ready to use them.

Thaw and Fertilization: When you are ready to use your frozen eggs, they will be thawed and fertilized using IVF or ICSI method.

Embryo Transfer: Once the fertilized eggs have developed into embryos, they will be transferred to your uterus with the aim of achieving pregnancy.
