PRP Therapy in Reproductive Medicine
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy is a medical procedure that involves using a patient’s own blood plasma, which has been enriched with platelets, to promote healing and tissue regeneration. In reproductive medicine, PRP therapy is sometimes used to enhance the quality and quantity of sperm in male infertility treatment and to improve endometrial receptivity in female infertility treatment. It can also be used to treat conditions such as endometriosis and pelvic pain. However, more research is needed to fully establish the efficacy and safety of PRP therapy in reproductive medicine.
